Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Telemetry RN for a 6-week travel assignment in Lufkin, TX. You will provide comprehensive cardiac monitoring, administer treatments, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Telemetry RN
• Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current ACLS Certification
• Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) Certification (preferred)
• NIHSS certification (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and other telemetry data to detect abnormalities and respond appropriately
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with focus on cardiac care
• Documents nursing history and physical assessment for telemetry patients
• Initiates patient education plans focusing on cardiac health and lifestyle changes
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care
