Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Telemetry RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Austin, TX. You'll focus on continuous cardiac monitoring in a busy telemetry unit and collaborate with the care team to provide high-quality patient care.

You will work 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts. Requirements include 1 year of Telemetry RN experience, active RN license, BLS and ACLS. Travel benefits apply.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Telemetry RN
• Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current ACLS Certification

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms and telemetry data
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with focus on cardiac care
• Prepares equipment and assists physicians during cardiac procedures
• Maintains patient comfort and safety in telemetry unit
• Documents nursing history and assessments for telemetry patients
• Initiates patient education plans on cardiac health and lifestyle changes
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive telemetry care
• Adheres to safety protocols and infection control guidelines
