Job summary

TotalMed RN in Brighton, MA, seeks a Telemetry travel nurse to join a Med Surg/Telemetry unit for a 13-week assignment. You will work 12-hour days, provide bedside care, monitor cardiac rhythms, and respond to telemetry alarms to guide patient care.

The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of acute care experience, ACLS/BLS, and willingness to travel. Competitive pay, weekly pay, and benefits are provided by TotalMed RN.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• 1–2 years of acute care RN experience.
• Ability to meet physical demands of travel assignment.
• 13-week travel assignment with 36 hours/week and 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data and assess patient status.
• Identify abnormal telemetry readings and alert the medical team.
• Respond to adverse patient conditions and initiate appropriate actions.
• Maintain ability to lift and move patients as required.
• Assess vision and other sensory requirements for monitor interpretation.
