Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg Tele RN for a Float Pool position in Massachusetts. The ideal candidate holds an active MA RN license and has at least two years of Med/Surg experience, with telemetry competency testing completed or passed.

The role requires rotating 12-hour shifts, both day and night, with a self-scheduling model and obligations including every other weekend and holiday. Compensation includes travel benefits, housing options, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active MA RN license required in hand.
• 2+ years of Med/Surg RN experience required.
• Must pass Tele/ECG and Medication competency testing.

Responsibilities

• Float Pool position covering Med/Surg and telemetry units.
• Care for medical-surgical and telemetry patients in hospital settings.
• Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios of 5:1 (M/S) / 4:1–5:1 telemetry depending on shift.
• Rotating 12-hour shifts (day/night), 7a–7p or 7p–7a.
• Self-scheduling with management balance; occasional weekends/holidays.
