The CST will assist in OR setup, patient transfers, and instrument preparation, while maintaining strict aseptic technique and assisting the surgeon during procedures.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of recent experience in a surgical setting.
• NBSTSA certification is highly recommended.
• Valid CST license or registration if required by the state.
• Valid BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Professional references.

Responsibilities

• Assist during surgery by transferring patients, positioning on the OR table, and helping the surgeon.
• Maintain aseptic technique, prep the patient, and sterilize the OR and instruments.
• Manage and order surgical supplies as needed to ensure availability for procedures.
