Qualifications

• 1+ year of CST experience.
• National Certification is available; NBSTSA recommended.
• Surgical Technologist license or registration if required by state.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Professional references available upon request.

Responsibilities

• CSTs assist with patient transfers to/from the OR, position patients on the operating table, prep for surgery, and assist the physician during procedures. They ensure aseptic technique, clean and sterilize the OR and instruments, and may manage supply inventory and ordering to support surgeons.
