Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of permanent OR CST experience.
• NBSTSA certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Active Ohio license if applicable.
• Active and in-hand certifications required at time of consideration; pending certifications not accepted.

Responsibilities

• Hospital operating room setting within the surgical services department.
• Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
• Travelers are expected to work every other holiday.
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines are required, with medical or religious exemptions only.
• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments will be completed during orientation, with a maximum of 2 attempts to pass.
• Background check hits are reviewed by the facility, but candidates with an open case will not be accepted.
• Facility does not accept candidates with any hits on their professional license.
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate.
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date.
• Candidates may extend their assignment for up to 18 months total, followed by a required 6-month break before returning.
