Job summary

Cynet Health seeks a Travel Certified Surgical/Scrub Technologist to join the Perioperative Services team at a community hospital in Vermont. You will prepare operating rooms, maintain sterile technique, and assist during procedures, ensuring safe, efficient perioperative care for patients before, during, and after surgery.

Ideal candidates have a CST credential, current BLS CPR, and at least 2 years of operating room experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Experience in operating room and sterile technique.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons and the surgical team during operative procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and handle instruments and supplies.
• Retract tissue and support patient positioning during surgery.
• Prepare operating rooms, instruments, equipment, and supplies for scheduled procedures.
• Support perioperative patient care including transport, positioning, and postoperative preparation.
• Participate in call coverage and respond to urgent cases within required times.
