Job Summary:
Operating Room (First Assistant) in a healthcare facility location. This position involves providing first assisting services during a variety of surgical procedures, including CABG, valve replacements, and vein harvesting. The role requires a certified healthcare professional comfortable with vascular procedures and surgical assisting.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in BLS (Basic Life Support) and NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting). Minimum of 1 year of experience.
• Specialized Skills: Venous harvesting for CABG procedures, assisting with on and off pump CABG surgeries, vein harvesting, vascular procedures, and a broad array of surgical assist techniques including cardiovascular, neuro, orthopedics, and robotics.
• Additional Information: The role may require floating to other units such as Labor & Delivery if needed. Unit accepts first-time travelers. The contract duration is from 10/05/2026 to 01/04/2027, with orientation hours totaling approximately 20 hours completed onsite.
• Travel & Licensing: Must hold a state or compact license at the time of submittal. All RTO (Requested Time Off) must be listed at the time of submittal. Compliance with 50-mile radius rule and facility approval of previous staff is required.
