Qualifications

• High School Education or GED required.
• BLS certification from approved vendor.
• Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) required.
• EPIC experience required.
• Preferred: Associate or Technical Degree.
• Surgical Technician or Obstetrical Technician certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient rooms and setup for procedures using aseptic technique.
• Check sterile packaging integrity and handle supplies and instruments efficiently.
• Provide surgical support during obstetrics-related surgery and assist nursing staff during deliveries.
• Participate in operative timeouts and support patient care before and after surgery.
• Assist with patient positioning, transfers and discharge procedures.
• Perform other clinical duties to support the surgical team.

Job Details

• Position: Surgical Technician / Obstetrical Technician (OR, ORT)
• Location: Templeton, California
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: High School Education or GED; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor; Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA); Must have EPIC experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Associates or Technical Degree; Surgical Technician or Obstetrical Technician certification
• Assists in preparation of patient rooms and setup for procedures utilizing aseptic technique; Checks sterile packaging integrity
• Provides surgical support during obstetrics-related surgery; Handles supplies and instruments efficiently

• Collects urinalysis specimens and records maternal vital signs, including weight, height, and intake & output measurements
