• Hospital-based Same Day Surgery OR setting
• Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM including late days
• General OR skill set covering a broad range of surgical specialties including bariatrics, endoscopic/laparoscopic, ENT, general surgery, gynecology, orthopedics, ortho/spine, ortho/total joints, plastics, podiatry, and urology

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist required
• BLS certification required
• State license required if applicable
• Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Experience with a wide range of surgical case types including bariatric, ENT, endoscopic, general surgery, gynecologic, orthopedic, plastics, podiatry, and urologic procedures
• Proficiency in aseptic technique, instrument processing, isolation precautions/PPE, sharps safety, specimen handling/labeling, sterilization/disinfection, and universal protocol (time out) procedures
• Familiarity with OR equipment such as electrosurgical units, fiber optic light sources/cords, drills, case carts, and crash carts
• 2 professional references required, with at least one from a manager/director or formal leadership role; charge RN acceptable as second reference; no coworker references accepted
