American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical First Assistant (CST/ORT) for a hospital OR position in Virginia. You will support orthopaedic, neuro, and DaVinci robotic procedures in a 10-room main OR with 1:1 patient care.

Requirements include CST/ORT credential, Virginia license if applicable, 2+ years of experience, and proficiency in ortho, neuro, and DaVinci robotics. Travel housing and licensure support provided.

Responsibilities

• Documentation completed in Meditech; standard OR equipment used.
• 10-hour shifts with rotating call on weeknights and weekends.
• No floating to other units; radius rule of 50 miles.

American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical First Assistant (CST/ORT) proficient in Ortho, DaVinci, and Neuro procedures for a hospital OR position.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the specialty
• Certified Surgical First Assistant credential required
• Licensed First Assist with the Virginia Board of Medicine required
• CST/ORT certification and state license required if applicable
• Proficiency in Ortho, DaVinci robotic, Neuro, and ortho trauma procedures required
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Responsibilities

• Work in a 10-room main OR unit with 1:1 patient ratios
• Each OR room staffed with 1 circulator and 1 scrub tech
• Uses standard OR equipment and documentation is completed in Meditech
• 10-hour shift schedule with rotating call on weeknights and weekends
• No floating required
• Assist with procedures including craniotomy, spine fusion, liver resection, whipple, and MAKO total joint surgeries
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Radius rule of 50 miles applies and local candidates will not be considered
