Job summary

HireTalent is seeking a Travel Surgical Technologist with GI/Endoscopy experience to support a busy outpatient surgery center in Wisconsin. You will assist with endoscopic procedures, maintain a sterile field, and prepare instruments and case carts.

This travel role covers a GI-focused perioperative environment in a fast-paced outpatient setting. The position emphasizes experience with colonoscopies and EGDs, sterile technique, and collaboration with physicians and nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Current BLS certification.
• Recent GI/Endoscopy experience is required.
• Experience assisting with procedures such as colonoscopies and EGDs.
• Strong understanding of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced ambulatory surgery environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize instruments, supplies, and equipment for GI/endoscopy procedures.
• Assist physicians and nursing staff during endoscopic cases.
• Maintain sterile technique throughout procedures.
• Perform room setup and turnover between cases.
• Prepare and manage case carts.
• Ensure proper handling and care of surgical instruments and equipment.
• Follow infection prevention and safety protocols.
