American Traveler Staffing Professionals seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist First Assist for a busy 16-room OR with robotic, ortho, and neuro/spine experience required.

Location: Richmond, Virginia. Shift: Days, 4x10hrs; Hours: 40 hrs/wk. Start ASAP; Length: 13 weeks. Pay: $2,126/wk. No floating, call rotation 2 shifts/week. CST certification and VA state license (if applicable) required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience required.
• Robotic surgery experience required.
• Orthopedic surgery experience required.
• CST certification required.
• Virginia state license required if applicable.
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start.
• No gaps in work history totaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 16-operating room surgical department at a hospital campus.
• Team-based staffing model with one RN, surgical assistant, and surgical tech per OR room on day shift.
• Night shift is call-only coverage.
• Procedures include robotic, neurosurgery, general, plastics, urology, and orthopedic surgeries (excluding transplant and cardiac).
• Day shift hours 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Call rotation averages 2 shifts per week, including weekday nights and weekend coverage.
