Job summary

RMS Energy is seeking Bus Field Technicians to support critical energy infrastructure projects across the United States. The role involves hands-on welding of aluminum components, interpreting drawings, and coordinating with field crews on-site at power plants, dams, and industrial facilities.

Candidates should have 0–3 years of aluminum welding experience (MIG required, TIG preferred) and be familiar with medium/high voltage equipment. Travel up to 75% and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–3 years aluminum welding experience (MIG required, TIG preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and layouts.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Work independently with minimal supervision on field projects.
• Collaborate with crews and other trades on-site.
• Interpret construction, welding, and electrical drawings and measurements per plans.
• Weld aluminum components in multiple positions; 6G test may be required.
