Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to perform decontamination, assembly of linen packs, and operate steam, ETO and other sterilization methods in a travel assignment at healthcare facilities in Staten Island, NY. You will maintain instrument inventories, support daily operations, and provide excellent customer service to clients and staff.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, applicable state certifications, and CPR if required; 18+ years

Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
Certification for sterile processing technicians by IAHCSMM or CBSPD may be required.
CPR certification may be required.
Health certificate per contract or state regulation.
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

Decontamination, assembly of linen packs, and operation of steam, ETO and other sterilization methods.
Maintain adequate inventory for instrument and equipment assembly.
Perform multiple tasks that support daily operations and provide customer service.
