Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Stepdown RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Omaha, Nebraska. The role offers 36 hours per week with 12-hour days, involving telemetry monitoring and complex cardiac patient care.

You will work with a dedicated clinical team, enjoy competitive pay and comprehensive benefits, and support patient-centered care during transitions from ICU to medical-surgical units.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs and telemetry data.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with focus on cardiac care.
• Prepares equipment and assists physicians during cardiac procedures.
• Maintains awareness of comfort and safety needs of telemetry patients.
• Documents nursing history and physical assessments for telemetry patients.
• Initiates patient education plans focused on cardiac health and lifestyle.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team for comprehensive telemetry care.
• Adheres to safety protocols, infection control, and regulatory standards.
