Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and signs of physiologic and psychosocial changes; use nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Collect, analyze, and document data; identify nursing diagnoses and expected outcomes.
• Document the plan of care with diagnoses and interventions; monitor progress.
• Initiate and evaluate patient/family education.
• Revise and document the plan of care according to evaluation and changes in medical plan.
