Job summary
MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Morgantown, West Virginia. The assignment runs for 13 weeks at 36 hours per week with 12-hour nights. Start date 10/12/2026. Travel-employment with a reputable staffing agency.
Active RN license, accredited nursing degree, BLS, and 18 months of acute care step-down experience are required. Client facility determines other requirements. Benefits include housing, health insurance, and travel reimbursement.
Qualifications
- Active RN license.
- Degree from accredited nursing program.
- BLS certification.
- Eighteen months of recent experience in Acute Care PCU/Step-down setting.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs and signs/symptoms; apply nursing process to plan, implement and evaluate care.
- Collect, analyze, and document health information and nursing diagnoses.
- Document plan of care with diagnoses, outcomes, and interventions.
- Initiate and evaluate patient/family education.
- Revise and document care plans based on evaluation and changes in condition.
