Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Stepdown RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Newburgh, IN. The RN will provide specialized care to patients transitioning from ICU to standard units, monitor telemetry, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Start ASAP with block 12-hour night shifts.

The role requires recent Stepdown experience, an active IN licensed RN, and BLS/ACLS certifications. Travel benefits, competitive pay, and full benefits package are included.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Stepdown RN experience.
• Current valid RN license in Indiana.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with focus on cardiac care.
• Prepares equipment and assists physicians during cardiac procedures.
• Maintains awareness of comfort and safety for telemetry patients.
• Documents nursing history and physical assessments for telemetry patients.
• Initiates patient education plans focusing on cardiac health and risk factors.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
