Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel Stepdown RN for a 13-week assignment in Odessa, TX. This full-time night shift offers 3 days x 12 hours with a supportive clinical team and competitive weekly pay.

You will monitor telemetry, administer cardiac medications, assist with procedures, and coordinate care for patients transitioning from ICU to medical-surgical units. One year Stepdown RN experience, RN license, BLS, and ACLS are required; PCCN/NIHSS are preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets telemetry and vital signs for abnormalities.
• Administers prescribed cardiac medications and treatments.
• Prepares equipment and assists with cardiac procedures.
• Collaborates with the care team for safe, patient-centered care.
• Documents patient status and responds to emergencies per protocols.
