Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets telemetry data and patient status.
• Administers medications and treatments per nursing standards.
• Assists physicians during cardiac-related procedures and examinations.
• Maintains patient safety, privacy, and comfort.
• Documents patient status and communicates changes to the team.
• Responds to life-threatening situations per protocols.
• Educates patients and families on cardiac health and risk factors.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
