Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Stepdown RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Virginia Beach, VA. You will join our clinical team to provide high-quality care to patients transitioning from critical care to medical-surgical units.

The role requires an RN license, BLS, ACLS, and at least one year of Stepdown experience. Travel benefits include competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package designed for travelers.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments with a focus on cardiac care.
• Prepare equipment and assist physician during cardiac-related procedures and exams.
• Maintain patient comfort and safety for telemetry patients.
• Document nursing history and assessments for telemetry patients.
• Initiate patient education on cardiac health and risk factors.
