Job summary

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a hospital contract in Weirton, West Virginia. This assignment runs 13 weeks with 36 hours per week and rotating 12-hour shifts.

Required: BLS and ACLS, 2 years Stepdown/PCU experience, and comfort with cardiac monitoring and drips. You’ll care for cardiac, pneumonia, post‑cath, and seizure patients while reading telemetry.

Qualifications

• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Minimum 2 years Stepdown/PCU experience with cardiac care.
• Experience with cardiac monitoring and drips preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple critical care tasks under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Perform ADLs, vitals, bathing, toileting, feeding, repositioning, and responding to call lights.
• Manage patient care for cardiac, pneumonia, post-cath lab, seizures and related conditions.
• Monitor and troubleshoot respiratory equipment and respond to needs.
• Read tele monitor strips and identify rhythms.

• Read and interpret tele monitor strips, print strips, and identify rhythms
