Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and monitor physiologic and psychosocial changes.
• Document nursing diagnoses and plan of care.
• Implement and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Educate patients and families as needed.
• Revise the plan of care based on evaluations.
