You will assess and monitor patients, support urgent interventions, and document care while collaborating with physicians and the care team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recent Stepdown nursing experience.
• Active Texas RN License.

Responsibilities

• Manage higher-acuity patients stepping down from intensive care who require close monitoring.
• Monitor continuous telemetry and hemodynamic status, recognizing and escalating changes promptly.
• Administer medications and IV therapy, including titratable drips approved for the unit, per facility protocol.
• Care for patients on high-flow oxygen and non-invasive ventilation when assigned.
