Aya Healthcare, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Step-down Registered Nurse in Charlottesville, VA. This assignment runs for 13 weeks with a Nights shift (4, 12-Hour 19:00 - 07:00) and starts on 10/26/2026.

Travel experience is required, VA or compact licensure is accepted, and Epic charting is used. 1 opening at an acute care Level 1 Magnet facility with 618 beds. Pay ranges from $2,585 to $2,780 weekly.

Competenze

• 2+ years of RN experience required.
• Neuro/Stepdown ICU experience preferred.
• Licensure VA or compact license required.

  • Skills: Aneurysms and repair, Blood Product Administration, Craniotomy, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Heparin Protocols, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Intracranial bleeds, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, Manage Vasoactive drips-no titration, Management of dysrhythmias, Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Pre/Post neurosurgery, Seizure disorders, Spinal cord injury, Telemetry, Tracheostomy care/management, Traumatic Brain injury
  • Certifications: ACLS, NIHSS, BLS

• Licensure: VA License or Compact License. Quick License State (Application process takes 2 weeks or less!)
