Job summary

Aya Healthcare is seeking a Step-down Registered Nurse for an assignment in Oakland, CA. The position runs 17 weeks with nights and a 3, 12-hour shift pattern (19:00–07:00).

Starting 11/02/2026, you’ll work in an Acute Care Hospital with Epic charting, a 3-patient ratio at night, and a benefits package including housing options and day-one health coverage.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years RN experience in acute care or step-down units.
• Experience managing cardiac drips, dysrhythmias, and telemetry systems.
• Familiar with Ventilator care and NIV/HFNC protocols.
• Strong knowledge of ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications.
