Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Perris, CA. The SLP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders, and collaborate with a clinical team to implement tailored therapy plans.

The role requires CA licensure and a current BLS certification; Master’s degree and CCC-SLP are preferred, with opportunities for professional growth and travel benefits.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or higher.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in CA; active license required.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
• Design personalized therapy programs based on evaluation findings and patient goals.
• Document progress clearly in the EMR and adjust plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families on therapy techniques and home practice.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain safe, infection-controlled treatment environments and comply with standards.
