Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Township, MI. The SLP will work 35 hours weekly, with days shifts, and handle evaluation, treatment planning, and patient education in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements include at least 6 months of travel experience, BLS, ASHA-SLP national certification, and state licensure. The role involves standing/walking for long periods and documenting progress per policy.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of travel SLP experience; new grads may apply.
• Must have BLS and ASHA-SLP National Certification with state licensing.
• Ability to stand, walk and perform related clinical duties as required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Create treatment and therapy plans tailored to diverse patients.
• Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders.
• Educate patients and families about speech disorders and causes.
• Report progress to families, teachers, or medical professionals.
• Provide timely documentation meeting state/insurance guidelines.
