The SLP will evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders across diverse patient populations, delivering individualized therapy plans within a hospital or clinic setting.

The role emphasizes collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, adherence to licensure and safety standards, and ongoing documentation in the EMR.

Qualifications

• Valid SLP license in CA and current BLS certification required.
• Preferred: CCC-SLP and Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Experience welcomed; new grads may apply; other licenses may be required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Create individualized therapy plans based on evaluations and goals.
• Document progress in the EMR and communicate with care teams.
• Educate patients and families on home exercises and strategies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
