Job summary

Alpha Home Health and Hospice is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (Inpatient) to evaluate and treat patients, develop care plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in an inpatient hospital setting.

Qualifications

Role:

Speech Language Pathologist (Inpatient) in a healthcare setting.

Planning and delivering speech therapy services, including evaluation, treatment, and education to restore speech, language, and swallowing functions. Responsibilities include clinical documentation, billing, effective communication with patients and medical staff, supervision of students or volunteers, and ongoing professional development following ASHA guidelines.

Qualifications & Skills:

Licensed in speech-language pathology with valid BLS (AHA). Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred. Strong interpersonal skills, proficiency in computer use, high attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
