Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy seeks a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Indianapolis, IN. The role offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and the support of a dedicated clinical team.

As an SLP, you will evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders across ages, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and follow evidence-based practices in a travel setting.

Qualifications

• Active Speech Language Pathologist license in the required state
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

Responsibilities

• Utilize standardized assessments to evaluate speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders
• Design personalized therapy programs based on evaluation findings and goals
• Maintain detailed documentation in the EMR
• Educate patients and families on communication strategies and safe swallowing practices
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
• Adhere to infection control and safety guidelines during therapy sessions
• Engage in professional development to stay current with best practices in speech-language therapy
• Perform other duties within scope of practice
