Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Galesburg, IL. The role involves evaluating and treating communication and swallowing disorders, with interdisciplinary collaboration and a patient-centered approach.

The position offers 40 hours per week, dayshift, and a comprehensive benefits package. Licensure, BLS, and preferred CCC-SLP certification are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid SLP license per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• CCC-SLP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders across diverse ages.
• Design personalized therapy programs based on evaluations and goals.
• Maintain documentation in the EMR and track progress.
• Educate patients and families on strategies and home exercises.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Uphold infection control and safety standards.
• Pursue professional development to stay current.
