Bayada Home Health Care - Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Bayada Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, travel position supporting our Maryland Visits Division. The role involves providing home health services to adult and geriatric clients on a per visit basis across various locations.

This permanent full-time position requires availability during daytime hours, Monday through Friday, with no weekends, holidays, or on-call duties. Assignments may be in:

• Montgomery County
• Frederick County
• Carroll County
• Howard County
• Washington County

Qualifications include:

• Current license as a Speech Language Pathologist in MD
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech from ASHA, or equivalent education and experience, with eligibility to take the ASHA exam
• Solid computer skills; experience with EMR preferred

Home health and Start of Care/OASIS experience are highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Make home visits within designated geographic areas
• Perform evaluations, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, communication, or swallowing issues
• Develop and revise treatment plans based on assessments and physician directives
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitative care and activities
• Document care and interventions accurately using electronic tablets
