Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Speech-Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Albuquerque, NM. The SLP will evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders, working with a dedicated clinical team to support diverse patient needs.

Responsibilities include developing individualized therapy plans, documenting progress in EMR, and educating patients and families. Requires state licensure and BLS; CC-SLP preferred. Travel benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Valid Speech Language Pathologist License in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Master’s Degree or higher in Speech Language Pathology.
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Speech Language Pathology experience, but New Grads are welcome to apply.
• Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across all ages.
• Design and implement individualized therapy plans based on evaluations.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR and monitor patient progress.
• Educate patients and families on therapy strategies and home exercises.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Uphold infection control and safety standards in therapy sessions.
• Engage in professional development to stay current with best practices.
