Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a 13-week LTACH contract in Albuquerque, NM. The role involves working with adults 18 and older, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop treatment plans and provide therapy sessions focused on swallowing and communication challenges, using MBSS chairs, C-arms and FEES equipment.

The day shift runs 08:00 to 16:30. Required: NM SLP licensure and current BLS; CCC from ASHA is preferred; minimum 1 year of experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Current BLS certification.
• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in the state of New Mexico.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and assessments for patients with communication and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
