Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for an immediate assignment in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The position requires 6 months of experience (new grads welcome) with BLS and ASHA-SLP national certification and state licensure.

13-week duration, 35 hours per week, days shift, travel role with tax-free stipend details to be determined. As an SLP, you will assess and treat speech, voice, and swallowing impairments across adult and pediatric populations in acute care, develop

• BLS certification and ASHA-SLP National Certification with state licensing.
• State-specific licensing may be required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Create treatment and therapy plans for diverse patient populations.
• Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders.
• Educate patients and families about speech disorders and causes.
• Report progress and current status to relevant parties.
• Provide timely documentation following state and insurance guidelines.
