HealthForce Healthcare seeks a Speech Language Pathologist for a travel assignment in Boston, MA. 26 weeks, 40 hours/week guaranteed, Mon–Fri, 8:00 am–4:30 pm. Pediatric feeding/swallowing across inpatient and outpatient acute care settings, supervised by the Pediatric SLP Section Leader.

Onboarding and competency sign-off are required; work schedule and onboarding occur at start of assignment.

Qualifications

• MA licensure as Speech-Language Pathologist
• ASHA CCC
• Current CPR certification
• Minimum 3 years pediatric feeding/swallowing experience
• Experience across NICU, Pediatric Inpatient Floor, Pediatric Intensive Care, trach and vent management, EPIC experience
• Ability to work across inpatient and outpatient pediatric care environments
• Availability to attend all team meetings during scheduled hours
• Additional competency in SLP department training and adherence to clinical standards

Responsibilities

• Perform pediatric feeding and swallowing assessments, including clinical bedside swallow evaluations and, when appropriate, MBS
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans for pediatric patients with feeding and swallowing disorders
• Document evaluations, treatment progress, and outcomes in the EMR (EPIC) and ensure adherence to SLP department standards
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and team meetings; coordinate with nursing, physicians, and family to plan care
• Provide education and counseling to families and caregivers on feeding strategies, safety, and home-program implementation
• Transition patients between inpatient and outpatient care as needed and participate in program-wide care planning
• Complete required SLP department onboarding, training, and competency sign-off (e.g., BMC Pedi SLP Competencies) and maintain adherence to department standards for patient care and documentation

Speech Language Pathologist, Acute Care, Boston, Massachusetts, United States. This is a travel assignment starting 12/14/2026 for 26 weeks with guaranteed 40 hours per week and a daily schedule of 8 hours. Weekly pay ranges from $2,647 to $2,820 per week, with shifts typically daytime, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. The position involves pediatric feeding and swallowing across inpatient and outpatient pediatric care environments in an acute care setting. You will be supervised by the Pediatric SLP Section Leader and complete department onboarding and competency sign-off upon start.
