Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Burlington, KS. This travel role requires 40 hours per week, with days shifts and a focus on acute care settings.

The ideal candidate has ASHA-SLP certification, BLS, and Kansas licensure, plus 6 months of experience (6 months accepted for exceptional candidates). Travel-friendly, competitive stipends may apply.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; however, new grads are encouraged to apply.
• Must have BLS and ASHA-SLP National Certification with state-specific licensing.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Create treatment and therapy plans to suit individualized needs.
• Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders.
• Educate patients and family about speech disorders and causes.
• Report progress and current status to appropriate parties.
• Provide timely documentation following guidelines.
