Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist for a travel assignment in Hot Springs, Arkansas. The role involves evaluating and treating patients with speech, voice, and swallowing impairments in the acute care setting, with 40 hours per week and a 14-week duration.

Required are BLS, ASHA-SLP certification, and state licensure. New grads are welcome, with 6 months experience preferred. Travel pay and tax-free stipends are included in the package.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; however, new grads are encouraged to apply.
• Must have BLS and ASHA-SLP National Certification with state-specific licensing.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Create treatment and therapy plans to suit individualized needs.
• Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders.
• Educate patients and family about speech disorders and causes.
