Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Speech-Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Harrison, Arkansas. This role offers 40 hours per week with daytime shifts, performing assessments and therapy for patients with speech, language, or swallowing impairments in an acute care setting.

A minimum of 1 year of experience is preferred; exceptional candidates with 6 months may be considered. Certification in ASHA-SLP and BLS, plus state licensure, are required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience preferred; exceptional candidates with 6 months may be considered.
• ASHA-SLP National Certification and state-specific licensing required.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Create treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders.
• Educate patients and families about speech disorders and causes.
• Report progress to families, educators, or medical professionals.
• Document care following state and insurance guidelines.
