Job summary

Princeton Staffing Solutions is seeking a Travel Speech Language Pathologist for a school-based position in Dover, Delaware. The role targets K-12 students in a public school district, with in-person, 37.5 hours per week.

The ideal candidate holds a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP licensure, and IEP experience. CCC-SLP is preferred, and familiarity with AAC devices is a plus. This contract-type is W2 local or travel through Princeton Staffing Solutions.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Valid state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) required.
• Experience writing IEPs and measurable goals.
• CCC-SLP preferred when available.
• School-based experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with AAC devices and strategies.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat articulation, expressive/receptive language, fluency, and voice disorders.
• Collaborate with general education and special education staff, parents, and administrators.
• Use diagnostic instruments appropriate for students.
• Support students using augmentative communication devices and strategies.
• Write measurable annual goals and objectives for IEPs.
• Participate as an active member of the IEP team.
• Maintain CCCs in SLP when possible.
• Adhere to state and federal regulations for disabled students.

• Skill and experience working with students who use augmentative and adaptive communication strategies and devices.
• Experience in writing Individual Education Programs (IEP), including working knowledge of social and behavioral language goals, specific task analysis skills, and ability to write measurable annual goals and objectives.
• Participate as an effective member of the IEP team.
• Completion and maintenance of CCCs in SLP is preferred.
• Working knowledge of state and federal regulations for disabled students.
