Role Overview: We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide therapy services in an acute care setting. The SLP will diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, voice, and swallowing disorders, develop individualized treatment plans, perform screenings, and educate patients and families about speech impairments. Accurate documentation and reporting are essential to ensure compliance with guidelines.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 6 months experience; 1 year preferred, new grads encouraged
• Valid ASHA-SLP certification and state-specific licensing
• BLS certification required
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods

Additional Details:

This is a travel role requiring 35 hours per week, with shifts of 8 hours during the day. Certifications beyond BLS and ASHA may be required prior to assignment. The position offers weekly pay, benefits, continuing education, and other perks.
