American Traveler seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist for an inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital, requiring 2+ years of experience and AHA-approved certifications.

Details

• 50-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital treating stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
• Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation Program and Stroke Specialty Program, CARF-accredited
• 12-week assignment with a 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM schedule
• Weekend coverage on request

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• AHA-approved certifications required
• License required if applicable
• Active and unrestricted licensure verifiable through Nursys at time of submission
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide specialized rehabilitation therapy tailored to individual patient recovery needs
• Work within a comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation program aimed at maximizing patient health, function, and quality of life
• Candidates must not reside within 60 miles of the facility
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
