Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Belton, Texas. The SLP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across ages, developing individualized treatment plans to improve speech, language, and cognitive-communication abilities.

The role requires licensure as an SLP in TX and BLS certification, with preferred credentials including a Master’s degree and CCC-SLP.

Qualifications

• Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in Texas
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Master’s Degree or higher in Speech Language Pathology (preferred)
• CCC-SLP certification or eligibility (preferred)
• Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position

Responsibilities

• Evaluate speech, language, voice, fluency and swallowing disorders across diverse ages using standardized assessments
• Design personalized therapy programs based on evaluation findings and patient goals
• Document progress and maintain EMR with accurate treatment notes
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on communication strategies and home exercises
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care
• Maintain safe treatment environment following infection control guidelines and regulatory standards
• Engage in quality assurance and professional development
• Perform other duties within scope of practice
