Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Giddings, TX. The SLP will evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders, work with a multidisciplinary team, and support patient goals.

Responsibilities include designing therapy plans, documenting progress, and educating patients and families. Travel benefits and comprehensive support are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid SLP license in Texas and CCC-SLP credential.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology; CCC-SLP preferred; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders across diverse patients.
• Design personalized therapy programs based on evaluations and goals.
• Monitor progress, adjust treatment plans, and document in EMR.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on communication strategies and safe swallowing.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain safe treatment environment adhering to infection control and safety standards.
• Engage in quality assurance and ongoing professional development.
• Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice.
