Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing seeks a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a Detroit, Michigan assignment. The role covers assessment and treatment of speech, language and swallowing issues with a 12-week duration and 40 hours per week.

Applicants must have an SLP license (or be in process), a Master's degree, CCCs, CPR, and at least 1 year of experience. Travel, housing and credentialing benefits are provided by the client facility.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• CCC certification preferred.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients needing speech, hearing or language treatment.
• Teach patients to improve speech sounds, voice, and language skills.
• Assist with swallowing training and compensatory strategies.
• Provide skilled speech therapy services per physician orders.
• Evaluate and modify care to meet therapy goals.
