Job summary

Soliant is seeking an on-site School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist in Ringgold, GA. The position requires a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and a GA state license; CCC from ASHA is preferred. Candidates with school experience are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities include identifying students with communication impairments, collaborating with educators, maintaining records, and supporting IEP development and implementation. Relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• GA State Speech-Language Pathologist license required for onsite position.
• CCC from ASHA is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Identify students with communication impairments.
• Collaborate with educational staff to assess impact on progress.
• Develop and implement instructional modifications.
• Provide materials to educators and families to support communication.
• Manage caseload including direct/indirect services and co-teaching.
• Maintain student records and performance data.
• Mentor new speech-language pathologists and supervise staff.
• Participate in committees and audits and provide in-service training.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program required.

Onsite School- Based SLP

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program required.
• Valid GA State Speech-Language Pathologist license.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred.

Previous Experience Working In a School Setting Is Preferred.

Performance Responsibilities

• Identify students with communication impairments.
• Collaborate with other educational staff to determine the impact of communication impairment on student progress.
• Develop and assist in the implementation of instructional and curricular modifications.
• Provide materials that promote communication development to other educators and families. Participate in student IEP development and implementation.
• Develop and maintain a caseload intervention schedule providing time for direct and indirect services, classroom collaboration and co-teaching, screenings and evaluations, materials preparation and voice output device programming.
• Maintain student records and performance data.
• Supervise speech/language-trained para-educator and graduate students as assigned.
• Mentor to new speech/language pathologists.
• Participate as required on Building Student Improvement Teams, speech/language department committees and projects, special education committees, projects, or audits.
• Provide in-service to colleagues.
• Must complete all Special Education paperwork including IEPs and Medicaid billing.
