Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a School Services Special Education Teacher for a travel assignment in Thornton, Colorado. You will support K-5 students with Autism in a center-based Structured Learning Services program, focusing on young learners with behavioral needs.

The position features a 40-hour week, day shifts (8:00 AM to 4:30 PM), and a 43-week contract with paraprofessional support as needed. A valid Colorado CDE license and clearances are required.

Qualifications

• CDE license in-hand for consideration if applicable.
• Experience with Autism and behavior management required.
• Colorado CBI and FBI fingerprinting clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction in a center-based Structured Learning Services program.
• Manage a caseload of approximately 8-14 students.
• Work a day shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, 5 days per week, 40 hours.
